After last year's EP release "Stone Thrower" which was praised with excellent reviews and even awards, the seventh Andreas Gross album entitled "Autumn Inventors" will be released on May 13th.
Again, the band show a sure feeling for ambient Gothic Dark Wave which knows to satisfy by means of delicate melodies and the use of a variety of singing voices. In addition to the ten album songs, the first edition includes four bonus live tracks as well.
The new album will also be released as a limited Vinyl+CD Edition containing nine album songs (excluding "Burning" and the live tracks).
Furthermore, a special and strictly limited DVD release ("Obscure Seasons") will be available at about the same time containing all 19 video clips published up to now.

Andreas Gross - We Like Ghost Girls
The fifth album of the by now six-strong formation around mastermind Andreas Gross once again makes a compelling case for the fact that music in the wide range of Dark Wave, Gothic, Heavenly Voices and Electro Pop does not have to follow overproduced genre cliches at all.
“We Like Ghost Girls“ has a very unique and modern sound, especially due to the beautiful underwater siren chanting of singer Tabitha Anders, so that the album does not have to fear the head-to-head comparison with such well-known bands like Cocteau Twins, This Mortal Coil or the early Clan of Xymox.
Once more, the album tracks stand out due to elaborate melodies, complex arrangements and poetic lyrics unfolding their pure force by Tabitha’s vocals, real acoustic instruments, layers of strings, a rich guitar sound and organic electro sounds. Musical surrealism in search of more general answers.
Apart from two new mix versions based on the latest album ("Bloodkiss" and "Malfunction") which can also be found on the LP, the CD album includes four bonus tracks, i. a. with mix versions, that really show the compositions' potential in the Dark Gothic field ("Agnus Dei" - Place4Tears mix) as well as in the Dance Pop section ("Stone Thrower" - Wollersheim mix).
"We Like Ghost Girls" is mental cinema for everybody who likes ghost girls ...

Man fühlt sich sofort umschmeichelt von diesen wunderbaren Melodien, selbst die eigentlich schroffen Gitarren werden durch viel Hall weich und anschmiegsam. Hier passt einfach alles zusammen. Andreas Gross - Hail To The Employee
"Hail To The Employee" is the fourth album by Andreas Gross in four years and he still invents his own musical universe. Miles away from any trend in the pop, wave or gothic scene the songs on the album are fragile wave/pop compositions with an individual magic touch. And this certain magic gets even stronger when you hear Tabita Anders' unique voice.
"Hail To The Employee" has gone through a lot of progress compared to its predecessors, but Andreas Gross still finds the right balance between heavily melancholic and dark gothic styles. Sometimes his music is even compared to early Clan of Xymox, This Mortal Coil or Breeders. And within all this progression the band still sounds fresh and pleasantly innocent without sticking too much to the usual wave-gothic cliches.
Once again, "Hail To The Employee" contains two cover versions like on all the albums before. This time Andreas Gross delivers a brilliant version of Birthday Party's song "To Die For". The other one is a remix of the AKANOID classic "Under The Line".
The songs have a very strong visual potential which can be seen in the many video clips the band has produced for this and for the previous albums. Andreas Gross already made three videos for this album - "Hopeful Despair", "Bloddkiss" and "Malfunction". They can be seen on MySpace and on YouTube. Andreas Gross is planning to release a special DVD-edition of all their video clips.
"Hail To The Employee" is also available as a limited white vinyl collectors edition.
