Almost twelve years after BIONIC's debut "Rest In Peace" (1995) and the comeback with "Close To Nature" (2010), a brand new and even more refreshed album will hit the shops in April 2012.
Whereas "Close To Nature" transferred the classic EBM styles and roots from the 90s debut into this decade, "Meadowland" truly breaks new ground for the project of singer/composer Dariusch Dalili.
Adding heavy breakbeat sounds, guitars, pumping basslines, catchy lyrics and melodies the twelve songs create a dense, dark and intoxicating atmosphere instantly stimulating mind and feet.
Songs like "Contamination", which is the first EP-single of the album, or the instrumental dance track "Control The Earth" are full of details and simply fun to listen to - as loud as possible!
"Meadowland" will be released on April 13th, with the first EP "Contamination" to be released on February 24th. The EP contains the title track plus three special instrumental playback versions. The band is also working on a new live setup to perform BIONIC's unique style of dark, rythmic and electronic music on stage.

Close To Nature (2010)
From the beginning to the middle of the 90th the Electro project Bionic was represented on numerous EBM compilations, some of them having become scarce collector's items like off beat releases like e. g. "We Came To Dance Vol. 7“ or "Tyranny Of The Beat Vol. 2“.
After their debut album release "Rest in Peace R.I.P.“ in 1995 and several live performances with artists like Krupps, A Grumph and De/Vision, the new album „Close To Nature“ will be out soon.
On 10 tracks and two remixes by Minusheart and Accessory Dariusch Dalili proves that rootsy "Electronic Body Music" is still alive and able to sound contemporary without having to use bits and pieces out of the popular "Future Pop Electro Club Hit building sets". "Close To Nature" is a multifaceted EBM album presenting the courage to play heavy sounds as well as melodies within in the scope of the genre. The crystal clear and crisp mastering was handled by Dirk „Accessory“ Steyer.
The album's musical arrangements range between classic EBM in the vein of "Data Bank A“ ("What Would You?“, "Somewhere“), complex-atmospheric soundscapes ("Cold Eyes") and catchy-melodious club sounds ("It Doesn't Matter") reminding of the early Front 242 ("Anything") in some places.
Soon Bionic will perfom live on stage again …

"[...]Mit den Tracks auf “Close To Nature“ macht Dariusch Dalili aka BIONIC deutlich, dass die Grenzen des Machbaren in den Bereichen Electro und EBM noch längst nicht erreicht sind. Wer Maschinensounds mag, die nicht wie alle anderen klingen, sondern auch organische Eigenschaften besitzen, ist hier definitiv an der richtigen Adresse.[...]" (Hooked-On-Music)
