DISTANCE's first album "At The End Of All Things" is a co-operation between Avalist (who already produced some albums with Misantrophe) and René who will also release another album of his project ZERITAS soon.
DISTANCE celebrates a hypnotic Electro-Wave without noising beats and lyrical clichés. Not least because of the congenial vocal fusion of both members the songs gain an interesting emotional deepness. Songs like "Back In Place" or "Riddle In The Grid" express this in a most spectacular way.
The melancholic and dark key tone - pointed out by the well used electronic instrumentation - is a common theme of all 12 songs of the album. The music of the album unmistakably resembles DE/VISION or Depeche Mode but keeps an individual style.
"At The End Of All Things" is a refreshing Electro-Wave-Pop album which develops all its qualities slowly but intense.
