After their second album "Man Machine" from 2008, the electro trio Lost Area is going to release their third album on April, 23rd, via Echozone / Intergroove. Broad and supporting soundscapes, dreamy and futuristic new sounds affecting your soul - that is Lost Area in the year 2010!
The variable and varied vocals of frontman and guitarist Markus Baer intensified by Andi Grundler's rough voice and an incisive guitar play, define their own electro style. With their third album "Memoria" Lost Area have succeeded in achieving the expected musical progress - which means producing ambitious music with danceable and, at the same time, moving elements.
With Gerrit Thomas (Funker Vogt) they were able to engage a producer who contributed as well to the new quality and elicited further musical facets from the triumvirate Bertram-Baer-Grundler with his ideas. Thus, "Memoria" presents a couple of potential club hits, a. o. "Lies" being featured on the well-known scene and club compilation "Dark Alliance".
Even in 2010, Lost Area who think of themselves as a sheer live band, are going to satisfy their fans with an excellent show. Of that people could convince themselves in the past while attending their support gigs for bands like The Cruxshadows, SITD, Rotersand, And One, Project Pitchfork, and various gigs in Switzerland, Austria and Germany.
