After releasing their first album "Weltenklang" in 2004, it took Pandique about four years to record their new album. "IN STURM UND LEBEN" captures the listerners attention with its impulsive, yet emotional electronic pop with a slight tendency to EBM music.
The lyrics, that are predominantly in German do fit well into the clear and contemporary production. Dirk Steyer( ACCESSORY) managed to create a powerful sound together with an acoustic transperency. He also made a remix of "Toter Stein", which is also on the album.
On this album Pandique convince with songs that make you want to dance ( "Toter Stein", "1000 Mütter") or powerful tunes like "Empathy" which is the only song on the album that is sung in English. Also "I don't care " and "Lovesong" prove that Pandique have this unique talent of writing these beautiful and melancholic songs.
"IN STURM UND LEBEN" is a record with a fresh and pure sound and with songs that are well written and that keep surprising you.
