With "Glampyre" the US-Goth-Rockers "Saints Of Ruin" are releasing their second full time album, which presents itself in more rock-orientated sound than before.
Beginning with the album title track, with its powerful and energy driven guitar, bass and drum rhythms the album features both classic rock songs ("Fire", "Father Vengeance") as well as epic, moody and heavy guitar-based tracks like "Slow Poison" and "The Son".
So it's no surpise that the cover version of the classic "Rain" (THE CULT) fits perfectly into the concept of this album. The album was produced and mastered by Descendants Of Cain Mastermind DM Kruger.

Nightmare
During the last months, Saints Of Ruin captured everybody's heart while touring all over the USA. And with "Nightmare" they recorded a real old-school goth / bat cave album.
Pre-reviews in various magazines (a. o. REVOLVER, CWG, SHALLOW GRAVES / USA, INSOMNIA, NOC-TURNE / UK) provide the band already with excellent reputations.
The album contains 11 powerful gothic rock songs including a genre interpretation of the Concrete Blonde classic "Bloodletting" which the band knows how to interpret in their very own way.
Stylistically, the band ranges between traditional gothic rock and bat cave sounds being rooted back in the 80s (Skeletal Family, Siouxie & The Banshees, Ghost Dance), and modern rock music. At the same time, singer Ruby Ruin radiates such a refreshing and somehow familiar breeze beyond any operatic vocal stunts.
